our programs
At Community Kids it is our mission to make each Sunday morning enjoyable for every child by creating an exciting and active environment filled with passionate worship, energetic games, great Bible stories and small groups that teach God's principles on an age appropriate level.
Our Values
Safety: Your child’s safety is our number one priority. In addition to a secure check-in process, every volunteer and staff member undergoes a background check and training before serving. If we need to contact you during service, your parent pick-up number will be displayed on the screen in the Worship Center.
Family: We are committed to partner with families in teaching children to honor and love God’s Word and to grow in their love for Jesus. We believe the most effective discipleship happens at home, so every child will receive a take-home resource every week to help you do just that!
Fun! Teaching children the love of Jesus in a safe and secure environment is our focus, but expect to hear a lot of laughing and playing, too. Your children will leave Community Kids asking when they get to come back!
Nursery
Community Church strives to have a great nursery for your little ones. Nursery is provided during morning services. The Nursery's mission is to provide a safe, caring, enjoyable environment for the infants and toddlers of our church, and to provide parents of these children an opportunity to fully engage in the worship service. The Nursery can be used by infants and toddlers ages 0-3. Your child's safety is our number one priority. kids church
Kids’ Church is during the 9:30 worship service and is designed for kids preschool through first grade. Kids worship with their families until the offering, at that time they meet their teachers in the back and go to worship in the Old Fellowship Hall. There is singing, Bible stories and activities that keep the kids engaged.
sunday school
Sunday School begins on August 27.
Sunday School meets from 11:00 – 11:45 and is available for all kids from preschool age through high school. We have a great curriculum, The Gospel Project. The Gospel Project emphasizes that the Bible is not 66 separate books, but one big story: God’s plan to rescue us from sin through His Son, Jesus Christ.
GEMS
In GEMS, girls in grades 2-8 learn about having a living relationship with Jesus Christ; they participate in team building exercises, enjoy dynamic singing and dance, make creative and fun crafts, and find answers to challenges that face girls today. Our GEMS girls have a ton of fun!! GEMS meets every-other Wednesday night from 6:30 – 8:00.
Cadets
In our Cadet programs, boys in grades 2-8 will be encouraged to have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ through Bible studies, merit badges, and learning the skills of an outdoorsman. Cadets meets every-other Wednesday night from 6:30 – 8:00.
Kingdom kids
In our Kingdom Kids program, boys and girls in 1st grade get to learn all about Jesus Christ and how to have a special relationship with Him. They also have fun with Bible-related activities like bible lessons, crafts and singing songs. Kingdom Kids meets every-other Wednesday night from 6:30 – 8:00.
